Electricity
In the United States the 2-flat-pin plug and the North American 3-pin plug are commonly used. The voltage used throughout the United States is uniformly 120 volts, A.C. at 60 Hz. A convertible type of electrical appliance such as a travel iron, hair dryer, and shaver will therefore be handy. Otherwise, a voltage converter may be necessary.
